Loan Requests
The Walker Youngbird Foundation welcomes loan requests from museums, galleries, and cultural institutions that share our commitment to advancing Native art and artists.
Our collection reflects generations of storytelling, resistance, and renewal—and we lend with the goal of amplifying Indigenous perspectives in spaces where they’ve long been underrepresented. We support exhibitions that engage Native voices meaningfully and situate Indigenous art within the broader landscape of contemporary culture.
Please Note: We do not lend works of art to private individuals.
To be considered, all loan requests must be submitted in writing at least six months prior to the exhibition opening and include the following:
Artist name and title of the work requested
Exhibition name and curatorial description
Venue(s) and dates
Name, phone number, and email for the borrowing institution’s primary point of contact
Facilities report for the venue(s)
Please send all requests via email to Taylor Colby at TC@walkeryoungbird.org
We review each request with care to ensure that the work is shown in a context that honors both the artist’s intent and the communities represented. Thank you for your interest in partnering with the Walker Youngbird Foundation.
